DAORX is a sovereign blockchain infrastructure organization, designed to administer healthcare data rights at the network layer the way ASCAP and BMI administer music performance rights — at scale, automatically, and transparently.
DAORX is a development-stage blockchain infrastructure organization built by MyRxWallet. The system is designed to operate as the rights administration layer for healthcare data — identifying who owns the rights to a record, enforcing consent at the moment of access, calculating royalties when rights are licensed, and routing payment to the rights holder by smart contract.
DAORX is intended to operate on infrastructure owned by MyRxWallet — including data center campus assets and validator hardware — rather than on rented cloud capacity or shared public chains. This architectural choice is deliberate: healthcare data requires sovereign control of the underlying infrastructure to satisfy the security, compliance, and continuity standards that distinguish regulated infrastructure from commodity hosting.
DAORX is not a cryptocurrency company, not a trading platform, not an investment vehicle, and not a payment service. DAORX is healthcare data rights administration, delivered as blockchain infrastructure.
Each participant is intended to receive a soulbound digital identity credential — a cryptographic instrument that binds the participant to their healthcare data record. The credential is non-transferable, patient-controlled, and serves as the rights instrument for any future licensed use of the participant’s data.
When a researcher, pharmaceutical developer, AI training organization, or other authorized party seeks access to data, the request is metered by smart contract. Access is enforced against the participant’s pre-registered consent profile. Data is released only when consent matches the requested scope.
When licensed access occurs, the smart contract calculates royalties per the participant’s pre-registered split rules and routes payment directly to the rights holders. DAORX retains a nominal administration fee — analogous to the rights administration fee retained by music collection societies — and remits the balance to the participant’s wallet.
U.S. healthcare data is one of the largest information asset classes in the world. Today, almost none of the value generated by use of that data flows back to the patients whose biology produced it. The structural reason is not a moral failure of the industry — it is the absence of a rights administration organization for healthcare data. The music industry built that infrastructure between 1914 and the present day. Healthcare has never had it. DAORX is designed to be it.
